Coffee and Cigarettes...

If there is one thing that Pristina does well, it's coffee. There are uncountable coffee shops everywhere you go, and a steaming hot delicious Macchiato (Pristina's drink of choice) will set you back only one Euro. For someone who never used to really drink coffee, this is a whole new world to me. One or two cups of coffee a day has now become the norm. Apparently one girl at the school last year hold the record of 18 cups in one day. So we'll see how it goes from here.

Unfortunately, what comes along with coffee in this city is cigarettes. EVERYONE smokes, and it is completely acceptable to smoke inside. Apparently there is a new rule coming into force next month which will mean that you can't smoke indoors, but I'm not sure how that will go down. For now, we just have to get used to smelling like pack a day smokers any time we get coffee or go out to eat. Which is often.

The food here is AMAZING, lots of olives and cheese and salads, as well as traditional beans in gravy, and meat stews. YUM, right?
