Hi friends. Charlotte here, Monday night after subbing some brutal 12th graders today, and trying to teach them about Civil Rights. Eek. Glad that's over...
It's crazy to think that only just over a month ago I was right in the middle of Buy to Save, one of UNIFEM Singapore's huge annual fundraisers. By the end of the weekend we were all absolutely exhausted (and possibly slightly mentally unstable?)
And then, only four days later, we were on a plane on the way to America! A month ago today we arrived in snowy Minnesota, for two amazing weeks of good food, good times, and most importantly, good people.
Sometimes it's scary how something can seem to have happened so long ago, and yet so recently at the same time. (Cue Twilight Zone Theme... thanks Jace.)

I was just thinking the same thing this afternoon- how it seemed like only yesterday you two were here, and now you're on the other side of the world so quickly (again). Thanks for the Twilight Zone infusion,Jace. One of my 12th graders chucked a giant old microwave across the cafeteria floor after lunch today.Needless to say, it's no longer in working condition.
